Solferino is a family owned and operated business. Samantha and Tony employ ~ 8-10 staff on a full- time basis, most of which have been with Solferino since Samantha and Tony purchased the property in 2019. With an inclusive and happy culture, each staff member understands their value
and is motivated in contributing to the goal of producing superior quality fruit year-in-year-out.

APPLICATIONS FOR 2025 SEASON NOW OPEN
The nature of growing cherries is seasonal, however Solferino are always on the lookout for good people whether it is in a permanent position or harvest role.
Applications for seasonal work positions open in late August, with work commencing in mid- November (weather dependent). Whilst preferred, experience is not necessary to work at Solferino Cherries.
If you are excited at the prospect of working as a team, learning a new skill and being a reliable and hard-worker for a period of 4-6 weeks, Solferino Cherries would love to hear from you.
Packhouse Team
There are a number of roles available in the packhouse which include cherry sorting, box preparation as well as logistics and palletising management roles (cool-room specific).As part of the broader packing shed team, we will also employ a team-leader who is responsible for over seeing the packing lines and communicating clearly and specifically back to the grader operator and management team in regards to any queries or issues that are being reported on the lines.The successful applicant for this role will display strong communication skills with individuals of all backgrounds, have a can-do and positive mindset and display effective problem-solving skills. The individual in this role needs to be effective at building relationships with internal and external stakeholders and have no issues clearly articulating the goal of Solferino Cherries.

General Terms
Solfarina Run has a no tolerance policy and attitude towards drugs. Solfarina Run loves welcoming all seasonal workers onto our farm over the cherry season, however\ any disrespect or interference shown to the privacy of permanent employee’s, owners or management will not be tolerated and will result in instant dismissal.
Prior to commencing work, all employees will required to provide their Tax File Number (TFN), Financial Details (Bank Details), a copy of your visa and Superannuation details in accordance with Tax Office requirements.
All seasonal workers are required to provide a mailing address (email address) that correspondencecan be sent to.
